International Cooperation between New Zealand, Europe, and America gets funded!
The Catalyst Fund from Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment of New Zealand will support activities that initiate, develop and foster collaborations leveraging international science and innovations for New Zealand’s benefit. The working group Applied Entomology at IPP (Dr. R. Meyhöfer) will provide their expertise on thrips and whitefly biology, ecology and integrated control. The first workshop will take place in 2018 at Lund University, Schweden. FARIS - Fundamental to Applied Research on Insect Sensing, will be the acronym for all project activities.
