Research Team Floriculture

The research and education of the section floriculture provide an advance understanding of the physiological and molecular aspects of the modern ornamental plant production, mainly focusing on propagation including in vitro techniques, plant growth and development, postharvest physiology, and genetic manipulation. The selected research topics contribute to basic and applied research, leading to development of strategies for quality improvement of investigated ornamental model plants.
