Leaf angle distributions of heterogeneous canopies have a big impact both on light distribution within the canopy and canopy photosynthesis.
The aim of my research is to analyse canopy heterogeneity within different crop canopies in relation to temporal dynamics of horizontal and vertical light distribution and photosynthesis under direct- and diffuse-light conditions.
